Our field teams are based in Zambia and include bilingual enumerators fluent in English, Bemba, Nyanja, Tonga, Lozi and other local languages, supported by experienced field supervisors. Being in-country brings cultural sensitivity, language fluency and community trust to every data collection exercise.
Enumerators and supervisors are carefully selected and trained in ethical data collection, quality assurance protocols and advanced interviewing techniques.
Fieldwork logistics across Zambia
We run fieldwork across Zambia's diverse terrain, from urban centres to remote rural districts. Teams work on tablets preloaded with SurveyCTO, KoboToolbox and ODK Collect, so data is transmitted and monitored in real time.
Research permits and ethics approval in Zambia
M31 Research is registered and compliant with Zambia's legal and regulatory requirements for research. We have experience obtaining Institutional Review Board (IRB) approvals, including from ERES Converge IRB, and government research permits, so studies meet national and international ethical standards.
